Yes! All our employees are US citizens that reside in the United States.
We are located in Maine but we have customers all over the United States. A high percentage of our work is done remotely, allowing us to work on any system anywhere, anytime.
According to the HIPAA Omnibus rule, your IT provider must be HIPAA-compliant. The only way to properly secure PHI information is to enter into a Managed Service contract with your IT provider, so that they can be responsible for your data 24/7/365.
If your practice loses data and it is found that you are using an IT provider that is not HIPAA-compliant, you open yourself up to higher fines, and your IT provider will also incur fines for non-compliance.
We often work side-by-side with in-house IT staff.
It's nearly impossible to see every scenario, track every looming threat, and keep abreast of new IT products and practices. Greenmark IT employees work in many different verticals every day, exposing them to every type of IT environment imaginable. This experience translates to expertise that can help your business expand and grow with the latest technology and best practices.
Greenmark IT has Business Liability Insurance, Worker's Compensation Insurance, Errors and Omissions Insurance, and Cyber Liability Insurance to protect you and your business.
All work is performed by Greenmark IT employees, with the exception of network cabling, which must be performed by a licensed electrician with a low-voltage certificate.
Although we are confident that you will benefit from our products and services, occasionally the client-provider relationship isn't a good fit.
One of the benefits that Greenmark IT has over other smaller providers is good network documentation. We create our own documentation as we work with you and your business and your employees. If it turns out that you wish to terminate the relationship, we can simply provide you with our documentation so that the next IT provider has everything they need to assist you.
